Trump says he’ll meet Putin in Alaska next Friday for first U.S.-Russia summit since 2021

U.S. President Donald Trump said he will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Aug. 15 in Alaska. The announcement came after Trump said Friday that he would meet ‘very shortly’ with Putin to discuss ending the war in Ukraine.
