British households contain £16 BILLION of old, unused technology – including Tamagotchis
British adults are sitting on a whopping £16 BILLION of unused technology, with old smartphones, DVD players – and even Tamagotchis – cluttering cupboards. A poll of 2,000 adults found they each have an estimated average of up to £300 worth of items such as printers, CD players, and camcorders stowed away, which could be worth a small fortune.
