Indiana Jones: Steven Spielberg offered Harrison Ford iconic role after Indy trilogy
INDIANA JONES director Steven Spielberg was very impressed with the star of his trilogy, Harrison Ford. So much so that he went on to offer the actor the lead role in his next blockbuster franchise, however, the role was eventually taken by New Zealander Sam Neill.
