JOHNNY DEPP starred in the tortured gothic love-story movie Edward Scissorhands under the direction of Tim Burton in 1990. To get into character, Depp wore some of his costume to bed at home after shooting had finished, including those frighteningly sharp hands. This eccentric use of the costume came while he was still dating costar fiancée Winona Ryder, who Burton claimed “stole Depp’s soul”.
