Ukrainians brace for betrayal as Trump prepares to meet Putin — with war still raging

Many Ukrainians fear little good will come of Donald Trump’s upcoming meeting with Vladimir Putin in Alaska. While the country is weary from three and a half years of continuous war and suffering losses on the battlefield, there is little appetite for Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelenskyy to give into any Russian concessions — and there is fear that Trump may try to force him to.
