World’s biggest cinema firm confirms considering filing for bankruptcy
DEBT-LADEN movie chain Cineworld has confirmed it was considering filing for bankruptcy in the US. The world’s second-biggest cinema operator also said it was looking at “associated ancillary proceedings” in other countries, raising questions about the fate of its UK sites.
