Army to use seaside ports to speed up response to NATO emergencies
Until now, the British Army’s armoured vehicles weapons and other military kit has had to trek to Southampton before it could be deployed on foreign operations. Anew deal will see it able to use 21 ports across the country to save time as tensions with Russia mount.
