Hong Kong pro-democracy media tycoon Jimmy Lai is facing a life sentence for allegedly conspiring with foreign forces and publishing seditious materials. His son, Sebastian Lai, says Canada has an ongoing role in supporting his father and reminding others what democracy looks like in the region.
